This sweet moment features Mama, Pang Noi, holding a bunch of bananas in her trunk with her sweet baby, Star, sitting in the foreground with her legs tucked beneath her. This iconic image of mother and child evokes a sense of love and compassion.

In early 2008 I spent 7 days exploring Thailand with my camera and the clothes on my back. I met these sweet Elephants at BLES (Boon Lott’s Elephant Sanctuary) in Northern Thailand. BLES is passionately devoted to creating a safe and natural home for Thai elephants. They care for rescued and retired elephants, allowing them to interact freely within 500 acres of forested land.

At BLES there are no performances - just elephants.

I found peace, healing and resored my spirit.

For humans and animals alike... BLES is Sanctuary.

The art ships within 1 business day of purchase via USPS, with tracking and signature confirmation. All prints are carefully packaged in a clear archival sleeve with backing and shipped in a protective rigid mailer. All U.S. orders ship via USPS Priority Mail with free delivery tracking. International orders ship USPS First Class Mail.
