Fill ‘er up

Working in my art journal is part of my daily practice. I do my best to show up to the blank page with no expectation, only curiosity.

Right now it feels like such an accomplishment to just be spending this time with myself in practice. Yes. Looking out into that open space is exciting. I'm also an expert in getting in my own way. I create large and small distractions that have kept me and keep me fluttering and floundering around. And you know what? I'm going to keep floating down this river and enjoying all the twists and turns along the way.
