Michelle's Belly Session.. she was nervous, her third little boy, Orion, was scheduled to be born like hie brothers by C-section. She saw my photo hanging at Becoming Mothers, and she wanted this photo to hang on a wall in her home. A symbol and reminder of the joys from each of her pregnancies.
"Oh My God! I just looked at my belly photos and they are so incredible! The amazing thing is that I went through them and thought, that's my favorite. Then I keep seeing different things that stand out in each one. They are all my favorites! You are amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Something Underground is performing this week during the Democratic National Convention in Denver. -
Steve Larson wrote a song,
"End of the Old Times" and the boys from Something Underground recorded it (with a little help from their friends) found inspiration with the upcoming DNC in Denver, they breathed new life into Steve's old song. Seth and Josh Larson are the driving force behind one of Denver's most popular new bands.(Westword, 2006, 2007, and 2008) And in case you're wondering, YES they are related to Steve Larson. But don't dismiss their new song (nepotism and all) but these boys have real talent! ( and so do their friends.)

The New York Times just published an article including some of Zoriah's images, and others including images from the Vietnam war, and dating back to WWII. The article discusses the issue of censorship in Iraq.
Photojournalist and War Photographer, Zoriah Miller to speak in Denver July 27Zoriah, an American photojournalist who was embedded with the Marines in Fallujah has been barred from the US Marine Corps because of the photographs he published showing the aftermath of a suicide bombing last month. A few hours after the photos of the bombing were published on his blog, a high-ranking public affairs official ordered him to remove it. When he refused, he was told his "embed" has been terminated and he would be flown out of Iraq.
Zoriah will be sharing his images and experiences.
Please come and meet this courageous journalist and show your support of his important work.
